I love knowing people in the art world. Not only do I get to socialize and network with amazing photographers but mingling with painters, sculptors, designers and illustrators helps to feed my creative soul. So, as part of a Thank You to graphic designer – and fellow Monmouth U. alumni! – Mike Barbetta for designing my AWESOME new logo and business cards I offered to take some belated engagement photos of him and his future bride, Carrie. Our setting of Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ on a spectacular fall Sunday set the perfect mood for this easygoing and rather non-traditional couple. High school sweethearts, these two canoodlers are as in love now as they were seven years ago; their level of mutual comfort and adoration was salient and profound. Shooting these lovebirds seemed almost effortless as they were quick to share affection and intimate moments in front of my lens. Also, using the sculptures with the care and respect they requested lent to some unique and personal images. Here are some of my favorites…this one was hard to edit down!![]()
