One thing is for sure, Katelyn and Steve know what they like and what they want and they aren’t afraid to go and get it. This was first demonstrated by their awesomely macabre engagement session which brings the phrase “Till death do us part” to a whole new level.
Oh, you don’t think a silly Dr. Seuss theme will mesh with a cemetery venue? Katelyn begs to differ, and she’ll show you why. Hand made, paper Truffula trees brought an air of whimsy to a mausoleum in West Laurel Hill Cemetery where they read their vows. Guests munched on “Hop on Pop-corn” and “Truffula seeds” and drank from cups with striped straws. Katelyn stunned in her pink custom gown by Janice Martin Couture, having worn a custom green gown for my own wedding this incredible detail struck a special chord with me. Be sure to check out more of her vintage vogue inspired bridal portraits!
Friends and family laughed and danced into the night, and it was only when you left the party did you remember that you were in a cemetery dancing amongst the dead.
Which just made the experience
One of the most uniquely fantastic weddings I’ve had the privilege of photographing and I thank you for the opportunity, Katelyn and Steve. Congratulations again on your marriage,
Oh! The places you’ll go!
