They say the third time is the charm so it makes sense that after a couple of cancellations due to stormy weather we finally got the perfect day! Dramatic clouds enhanced the backdrop for Thayne and Alex’s Philly engagement and these two were an absolute dream to work with. Thayne – a beautifully elegant dancer – and Alex – a gifted fine art painter were jovially at ease in front of my camera. I barely had to say anything and they were canoodling, smooching and working all the right angles.
At my request – and because Thayne and Alex were fearlessly up for anything – we made a stop at an abandoned structure on our journey and got some of my favorite shots of the day.
We spent some time dancing at Race Street Pier, we meandered under the Ben Franklin Bridge and strolled along Columbus Blvd.
A beer at Yards Brewing Company was the perfect way to end our session; patrons clapped and shared their well-wishes and we even got to shoot in the brewery with one of the brewers himself! Just another example of “it never hurts to ask”
I hope you enjoy their session as much as I did; I can’t wait for their vintage Hollywood glamour wedding this July!
