I’d been excited about Nicholas and Daniel’s wedding since I first met them for their engagement session this past March. In case you missed it, check out the fun we had at NYC’s fort Tryon Park!
As much as I love a big, kick-ass party, I have such a fondness for intimate weddings which is just what these gents hosted for their closest family and friends. On a picture-perfect Memorial Day weekend in the heart of the West Village I had the pleasure of documenting this classic New York wedding.
Held at BOBO NYC whose unique townhouse offered amazing decor and details, a rich indoor/outdoor space and plenty of photo opps. Guests sipped cocktails during happy hour before witnessing the grooms’ sweet ceremony – complete with the most amazing aisle runner EVER. Of course there was laughter but the tears surely flowed when Daniel honored his late mother by lighting her a candle – no question she was present that day with all of us.
The laughter combined with cheers through toasts in the basement bar before the party moved upstairs to the patio and dance floor. We were sure to venture to the roof for some dramatic nighttime shots – I just love those city lights!
I’d like to give a big shout out to my second shooter Jaci Berkopec and, of course, to Nicholas and Daniel – arguably two of my most handsome grooms of all time. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!
